Six Las Vegas-area turkey trots on Thanksgiving morning, compared by distance, start time, start line and the price each organizer publishes.

Short answer: Las Vegas has at least six turkey trots on Thursday, November 26, 2026. The only half marathon is BBSC's Las Vegas Turkey Trot on the Historic Railroad Trail near Boulder City. Turkey Rock (Floyd Lamb Park) and The Holiday Classic (James Regional Sports Park) offer a 10K. Life Time (Summerlin), Wobble Before You Gobble (Kellogg Zaher Park) and Inspirada Runners (Henderson) are 5K-and-family races.

Las Vegas Turkey Trot
Half marathon, 12K, 5K, 1 mile at Historic Railroad Hiking Trail (Boulder City). Gravel rail trail through the tunnels toward Hoover Dam. Now in its 20th year, per the organizer. USATF sanctioned. Packet pick-up Wed Nov 25, 3–6 PM, at Trek Bicycles, 19 S Stephanie St, Henderson, or race morning 6–7:30 AM at the trailhead. Organizer details.
Life Time Las Vegas Turkey Trot
5K, Family 1 mile at Life Time Summerlin (finish); start at Las Vegas Ballpark (Las Vegas). Road loop from Las Vegas Ballpark (Aviators Stadium) to the Life Time pool deck; the organizer calls it a mild incline. Packet pick-up Sun Nov 22, 10 AM–1 PM, and Wed Nov 25, 3–5 PM, on the Life Time Summerlin pool deck. Runners park free in the lots across from Las Vegas Ballpark; the organizer asks you not to park at the club. The organizer says bibs picked up after 7 AM on race day won't get a time in the results. Turkey Rock 10K/5K/1M
10K, 5K, 1 mile, Virtual at Floyd Lamb Park, Group Area 5 (Las Vegas). Out-and-back on a crushed-limestone park trail, about 35 ft of gain; the 10K runs the 5K course twice. Park entry fee is included in registration, per the organizer. Packet pick-up Tue Nov 24, 4–7 PM, at REI Boca Park, 710 S Rampart Blvd, or race morning from an hour before the start. The Holiday Classic 5K/10K
10K, 5K at James Regional Sports Park (Las Vegas). The organizer describes it as flat and fast. The earliest start of the Thanksgiving races listed here. Registration stays open until each race starts, per RunSignup. Organizer details.
Wobble Before You Gobble
5K, Virtual at Kellogg Zaher Park (Las Vegas). Park course; the registration page doesn't describe the surface. Supports the Achilles Las Vegas chapter. Packet pick-up Wed Nov 25, 2–6 PM, at 24 Hour Fitness Summerlin, 2090 Village Center Circle, or race morning from 7 AM at the park. Organizer details.
Inspirada Runners Turkey Trot 5K
5K, 1 mile at Solista Park (pavilion tent) (Henderson). Flat, fully paved loop on the neighborhood walking and bike path, per the organizer. First year. Run by local runners and, per the organizer, not affiliated with the Inspirada Community Association HOA. Part of the proceeds goes to the National MS Society. Every participant, including runners under 18, must register. Organizer details.
How to choose
- Longest distance: BBSC is the only half marathon and 12K, and it's the one out of town, in Lake Mead National Recreation Area near Boulder City.
- Earliest finish: The Holiday Classic 10K starts at 7:00 AM, the earliest gun on this list.
- Families with small kids: Life Time, Turkey Rock, BBSC and Inspirada all have a 1-mile option. Wobble Before You Gobble gives under-13s $10 off the 5K.
- Can't be there: Turkey Rock and Wobble Before You Gobble both sell a virtual entry.
- Register soon for Henderson: Inspirada's registration closes November 6.
